I am trying to load shape files from the city planning department that uses GIS. I files were converted to CAD Shape files. I use the LOAD command (first loading the .shx file) when I go to select the file and click open I am told in the command line the following: 'Error reading shape file P:Project Path.... StreamBuffers.shx
Since this will not Load the file I can not command SHAPE to get the file into the drawing. If I drag and drop the .SHP file this is what is said 'Bad shape definition at line 1 of P:Project Path... StreamsideOVL.shp:
Expected '*n,len,name' shape header
Suppose this is currupt data and will not load properly or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for any advice.
